           Backstory: 

This year I created something special to celebrate Brigid at Imbolc walking into spring. This piece depicts a time of joy, hope and nourishment: Springtime. 

Deity Brigid is one of my main spirit guides, and I happen to have a lifelong obsession with the mysterious Indo-Celtic connection. This year a fun clue came to light while researching. 

Due to the fact the Celtic goddess Brigid is lactose intolerant, she was gifted a small white fairy cow with red ears by her friends from… India! For the remainder of her years she lived off the milk, as it produced loads of lactaid free dairy. She and the cow were a sort-of-besties. Fascinating! I had my vision, and the print was born. (Also I am quite certain also this mythology is somehow connected to the cow who jumped over the moon?)
